Located within easy reach of East Croydon station, 101 George Street Croydon is currently the World’s tallest modular building. The two linked towers of 37 and 44 storeys, comprise both residential apartments and commercial space at lower levels. The stunning appearance has been achieved through the architect’s inspired choice of beautiful dark green high glazed terracotta cladding, separated at each floor by dark bronze feature metalwork banding. Century’s scope of works also included aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling, plus GRC stone to the lower level commercial areas. Century’s contract included the design, supply and installation of the complete envelope.
